Spencerian Resources

The following books are the books that I have used today to practice my Spencerian Script.
Spencerian is a System of Handwriting. To practice it (of course, if you want a light hand and ease in writing), I recommend learning both arm movement techniques and understanding the proportion of the letterform.

My suggestion to practice is in each tab below.
However, in general, if you are a beginner and want to start learning Spencerian,
the following study might help you.

5 - 45 minutes of Circular Motion warm-up (everyday)
5 - 45 minutes of Oval and Strokes Drills (everyday)

5-15 minutes -- Analysing the letterform by writing it not more than five letters (once a week)

Zaner  Method Writing: Arm Movement Manual 144
A good book for rhythm practice to understand the Arm Movement Zanerian Way.

Suggestion:

Duration of reading the book: 45 minutes
Duration of practice: 45 minutes
Zaner  - Bloser: Lesson in Ornamental Penmanship
Both Zaner and Bloser used to study and teach Spencerian (according to Business Educator). This is A good book for rhythm practice in Spencerian, where I called as Bloser 's Spencerian

Suggestion:

Duration of reading the book: 45 minutes
Duration of practice: 45 minutes
I like how thoroughly and detail-oriented the workshop’s structure is. The workshop handouts are very useful too (especially for personal study after the classes) I like all the recorded videos and handouts. It has helped me a lot to pass my IAMPETH Certifications!

Love it! What an Excellent Class!!
