In-Person Group Class (Every Sunday, Starts 9 January - 31 January)
Descriptions
Focus: Roundhand/Copperplate ~ Basic Pointed Pen Calligraphy. The Class limit is a maximum of 5 people. Place: my studio at Scribes and Beyond Shop Studio. Date: 4 Sundays in January (7, 14, 21, 28 January 2024) Time: 10.30am - 3.30pm (Lunch at 12 pm-1 pm, flexible time for tea break, depending on the class decision). Class Price: AUD 950 per person ($750 per person if you bring your friend) Things that you can bring home: - 1 Tom Studio’s Oblique penholder - 1 set of Dinky dip inkwell and ceramic pen rest. - 2 Nikko G Nibs & 1 Flexible nib - 1 10ml My handmade walnut ink. - Handout and worksheets (lowercase and uppercase) - 1 folder/binder of your tryout in class - Small notebook, knowledge and your craft on cards. Things that are provided at the studio: - Lunch will be provided - Cookies/Snacks - Tea/Coffee - Dual acrylic penholder with metal flange (which you can bring home if you want) — This one will be adjusted to your hand grip. - Inks to share (Sample of inks in a different colour will be provided for you to try - black/metallic/gouache) - Nibs for practice - Unlimited Cards/paper type to try. - A ballpoint pen to write notes. Note: All deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your materials and studio seat. 🔁 Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that life happens. Please review our cancellation terms carefully: Up to 14 days before class start: Your deposit is retained Any additional payments will be refunded minus a $50 admin fee Less than 7 days before class start or no-show: Full payment is non-refundable You may transfer your booking to another participant with prior notice Missed Days (for 5 or 10-day bookings): Partial refunds or make-up sessions are not available. We will do our best to help you catch up through handouts and recap support. 🧰 Materials & Studio Use: All materials (including gold, gouache, gesso, and surfaces) are included and prepared in advance Please bring your lunch daily; light snacks and drinks are provided Students are welcome to bring a personal sketchbook and any favourite tools for comfort or note-taking Shared studio tools (burnishers, brushes, palettes) must be treated with care and returned after use More details will be provided after the registration.
